    huge room
    amazing breakfast
    friendly hosts
    kitchen noise

Super cool stay at a former school!

This place is awesome! My wife and I were stuck at the border and Jim and Donna were so welcoming. The rooms are HUGE – feels like we had our own classroom! And breakfast was to die for, best French toast ever! Just a bit of noise from the kitchen sometimes, but overall, amazing vibes.

    spacious room
    homemade rolls
    communicative noise
    layout confusion
    shared kitchen issues

The experience of staying in a converted school was truly unique, with rooms that felt spacious and thoughtfully decorated — like one's own personal classroom. Breakfast featured delicious homemade rolls and was served freshly prepared each morning. While the building’s layout was charming, at times it led to some noise from communal areas, which detracted from the overall peace during the stay.

    family atmosphere

    Family with children hidden gem

The owners made us feel like we were part of the family. Jim gave us a personalized tour of the entire place, sharing fascinating stories about its history that made it real for us.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but worth every penny.

    delicious breakfast
    historic spots
    evening activities

We loved exploring the local area, and the kids especially enjoyed visiting the historic spots nearby. Breakfast was a highlight too – nothing beats fresh homemade food while soaking in the beautiful scenery. The owners made every effort to ensure we felt right at home.

My kids wished there were more activities for them in the evening.
